I Want It Now
by Lorelei

Willow sat on the edge of the bed pouting.  “I want it.”

Angel was lying across the bed on his stomach, his attentions elsewhere. “Nope.”

She whined, “Why not?”

“Because, I said so.”

“I can’t believe you are being so selfish.”  She crossed her arms and tapped her foot impatiently on the floor.  Angel continued to ignore her.  She tried another tactic. “Please, pretty, pretty please?”  Willow ran her fingers through his hair, tickling his ear.  He batted it away. Trying again, she leaned over and ran her tongue around his ear.  She whispered, “Let me have what I want, Angel. I’ll make it worth your while.”

A little pinprick of desire softened the tone in his voice, but Angel still refused to yield.  “No.”

Willow jumped from the bed, stamping her foot and putting her hands on her hips. “Damn it! You’re living up to your namesake, Eeyore. Is this a power trip for you?  I want it, and I want it now!”

Angel eyed her, loving the flush that came to her cheeks whenever she was angry. He pulled her back down on the bed, raising up to smother her mouth with a searing kiss.  He waited until he felt her body relaxing, then spoke. “It’s a man thing, Willow.  Get used to it.”

Willow had been softening until that last crack. She smacked his butt sharply.  “You really are a jackass!”

“Yep. Now come over here and snuggle with me.”

Willow crawled on top of him, lying full length on his body. “Do me one favour then.  Please?”

“All right. But you still can’t have it.”

“Change the freaking channel!  I’m sick to death of C-Span 2.”
