LOS ANGELUS
by Intell

Willow walked into the building following behind Angel. She had been terrible company the entire drive. She was too busy hoping that Buffy could forgive her. She got into the elevator and smiled tentatively at Angel.

"I'm sorry. I just can't forget Buffy."

"No problem. That's one of the things I love about you." he said quietly. "In this relationship, we both may have to make some
allowances. It's worth it."

The elevator stopped. She got out and looked around. "Wow. This is nice....kind of dark."

She looked at Angel and saw that he was looking around too. She smiled. "What? You were only gone for two days."

"I never realized how dark it was. Terribly depressing. I need a bit more color. And what the hell is this? He must be crazy." he mumbled, looking at some of the antiques laying around.

Willow just shook her head. Sometimes she just couldn't understand him. "Where's the bathroom?"

"I'll show you. I need to change anyway." He led her to the bedroom. She went in to freshen up, splashing cold water on her face.

"Maybe I should call Buffy...." she said as she left the bathroom.

"Enough about the damn slayer." Angel said crossly.

Startled, she looked at him. (Oh Goddess....) He had changed into a pair of tight leather pants and a dark blue shirt. She looked into his smiling eyes. He could see her desire.

"The slayer is in Sunnydale. Let the little bitch wallow in self pity for awhile. She deserves no more than that."

"Angel! What's wrong with you? You used to love her."

"I NEVER loved the bitch. HE did. I wanted you. Always did. Now, I have you."

Willow felt a shiver of fear race through her. She recognized the cocky arrogance...the sneer on his lips...

"Angelus?" she whispered.

He smiled brightly. "Guess that curse didn't work, huh Red?"

"How....when..."

"Well, I think you know how. When, Friday night.  decided to keep it a secret until I got you away from the slayer. I didn't know how you'd react. Now, don't worry, lover. I have no plans for world domination this time. Nor do I want to be bothered with the slayer. I am here because of you. I'm actually a pretty nice guy, if I do say so myself. You'll learn that. We have all the time in the world...." He said, moving towards her. His lips caught hers in a bruising kiss. "I love you Willow."

Willow felt her control slipping as she relaxed into the kiss. No, it had to be a nightmare. He couldn't be Angelus. She didn't love Angelus.....did she?
