Deceptive

Willow's gazed out the window of the car, the motion of the automobile lulling her.  It was too bad they couldn't have driven up during the day, but better not to take chances, even with the darkly tinted windows.

"Sleep, if you want.  You don't need to worry about my staying awake."

Angel's voice snapped her out of her daze.  She placed a hand on his thigh and squeezed.

"I'd rather stay awake, but a little nap might not hurt.  I've never been on Highway 1 before.  It's magnificent."

"It's just as beautiful where we're going, and we'll be there for the entire week.  Sleep now."

Willow smiled and leaned her head back on the pillow she'd brought with her.  A week with Angel with no interruptions!  Everyone who didn't already know what was going on thought she was spending Spring Break
with Amy at a retreat in Sedona.  Instead, here she was heading for Carmel.  Angel had rented a cottage, very near the Point Lobos State Reserve.  She'd looked it up on the Internet.  The terrain was rugged and beautiful.  Of course, Angel wouldn't be able to enjoy it except at night, but she could at least go on the guided walks during the day.

Besides, Angel wanted to spend his free time drawing.  He'd taken up his old interest with a vengeance.  All of his supplies were in the trunk, along with their luggage and Willow's laptop.  Angel had made sure there was a computer with a connection at the rental place, but who knew what might or might not be loaded on it.  Better safe than sorry.

Willow's eyes drifted closed again.  There was something comforting about the movement of the car, the hum of the engine.  She was sure it would lend itself to pleasant dreams.

******

Angel leaned over Willow, entering her with a sharp thrust.  A slight moan escaped her lips as she moved backwards, meeting him, crushing her pelvis against him.  He rocked in and out of her, his hands grasping
her hips, digging into her flesh.  Willow's eyes were closed and she squeezed them more tightly together as powerful sensations radiated up from her groin.  So good, so very good.  She sucked in a deep breath as
one of Angel's hands moved to her clitoris. Through her heady arousal, she detected an interesting aroma.

Suddenly, she realized that there was a great deal of noise around her.   Willow groaned as Angel continued to pound into her, pushing her closer to the edge of her orgasm.  She lowered her head and opened her eyes.  //Formica.  Why is there Formica on the bed?  Funny, it looks like one of the tables in the… My God! // Willow looked up and around.  They were fucking in the middle of the school cafeteria!  On top of a table, doggie-style, no less!

Panicked, Willow tried to move away from Angel, but his hands held her.  He refused to stop what he was doing.  Looking around, Willow noticed that no one was paying them any attention. Students gathered at tables,
grimly eating their lunches as they carried on their usual conversations. It was like Willow and Angel weren't even there.   Slowly, she began to relax again.  They moved with one another, each thrust sending Willow closer to her orgasm.  With a small whimper, she plunged over the edge, shuddering underneath Angel's touch.  Willow
looked up and found herself staring directly into Buffy's eyes. Angel thrust into Willow harder, grunting in his passion, but still not coming.  Willow was mortified, unable to speak, unable to move.

Buffy spoke, "I'm not surprised.  He's always been a slave to his own desires.  He's selfish, you know."

Willow was shocked at the tone of Buffy's voice.  She had spoke with no malice, only resignation.  "Buffy, I… I'm so sorry, I never meant to hurt…"

Buffy brought a finger to Willow's lip, shushing her. "No, you didn't. But that doesn't make it less painful.  Besides, we both know he would be doing that to me if he could.  I was the one he wanted, not you.
You were his only way out.  He saw a chance and he took it."

Willow squirmed; wishing Angel would either stop or finish.  This was an unbelievably embarrassing situation. He seemed oblivious to the conversation that was taking place.

"What do you mean he took his chance?  Don't blame him, Buffy. I was the one who started it. I went to him, not the other way around. We just got caught up in a stupid curse.  We didn't know what the consequences would be."

"Consequences." Buffy smiled, "There are always consequences.  Some people just get luckier than others." She leaned in close to Willow's ear, whispering. "And some people can't see the truth unless it's dropped on them like a ton of bricks.  Sometimes it takes years to gain knowledge.  Angel's walked the earth a long time, plenty of time for him to tuck little tidbits of information away. You've only had seventeen years, not nearly enough time to digest reality."

Angel pounded into Willow.  She'd be grateful when he was done.  It was starting to hurt.

Buffy straightened, "Looks like it's time for the grand finale.  I'd love to stay and watch, but I think I'll go kill something, instead.  'Bye, Willow."

Willow spoke weakly, attempting to figure out what Buffy had been trying to say. "Bye, Buffy."

Suddenly, Angel stiffened, roaring as he shot his seed into her.  Twitching, he grabbed her hair and roughly pulled her up.

"Thanks, babe. I really enjoyed that.  Almost as much as I'm going to enjoy this."

Willow watched in horror as his game face emerged.  "An…Angelus?"

He winked at her.

"That's right, babe. You and me are going to make one hell of a team, once we get rid of that pesky mortality problem you have."

Savagely, he bit into her neck, and Willow felt her life slipping away.

********

"Woh!"

Willow bolted upright, her eyes frantic as she looked around.

"Willow?  You okay, little girl?"

Angel's voice was full of concern.  He slowed the car, looking for a place to pull over.

"I…I'm fine. Bad dream, really bad dream."  Willow's heart was racing in her chest.  It had been incredibly vivid.  Why in the hell had she dreamed that?

"I'll pull over.  You can stretch your legs and clear the cobwebs."

"No, I'm okay.  Let's just keep going, please?"

"All right, but if you want to stop, tell me."

Angel brought his hand to her cheek, caressing her lightly.  Willow visibly flinched.

"Must have been a really bad dream.  What was it about?"

Willow tried to smile, but knew it came off false. "I… I really can't remember now."

"Good.  I don't want you having that one again!  I love you, you know, Willow."

Willow began to relax at his gentle words, knowing that he was telling the truth. "I know.  I love you, too."

The couple drove on in silence. The only sound was the breaking of the waves against the rocks and the deceptively peaceful hum of the motor.

The End
